I've read lots of threads about repellent but wonder if anybody has any recommendations for a cream or spray to apply to bites to stop them itching and reduce redness.

My wife swears by Citronella Oil on your wrists as well as your ankles .
Be aware of sand flies they come out around sunset when the sand starts to cool.

Wife swears by just Lavender spray and very little perfume.

Hi we had no problem at all with mossies when we were there last october but I always use jungle formula.BOB.G

We visited Kuredu a couple of years ago and found I got a few bites from sand flies, I now wear long pants ifhaving a table on the beach.
