| Hi again! Does the resort provide Snorkel gear (masks, snorkels, fins), or is it a good idea to buy a set before we go? Also, we're staying half board. Do they provide free kayaks, or is there a fee to hire them. If so, how much do they generally charge (not that it's an issue, just curious ). Thanks again | |

Thanks again You can hire these items from the Dive shop. No idea on the charges. Use the link on the front forum page direct to the Prodivers site and ask them the question. You may find it cheaper to take your own. We got basic (but good quality) kit from our local dive shop at a very reasonable price. Think you own snorkel just seems better to be honest, you know where it's been! Can't comment on the Kayak point. Richard

| Just used the link myself and found a price list Snorkel Set (Mask, Snorkel and Fins) $8 / day Snorkel Set 6 day hire $40 Mask $4 / day Snorkel $2 / day Fins $4 / day If you going for two weeks I would think that a basic set from your local dive shop would be cheaper. Oh the joys of working from home, I can play on here all the time Richard. | |

| Maybe just me but I don’t like the thought of hiring the snorkel.
I always hire the fins and save the room.

| (Unable to post picture from my own computer but it shows my snorkle and mask on a coconut and sitting at the end of my sunbed!) Helps to find your JBV when you walk back along the beach in the dark after dinner and nightcap in the bar! (Kindly set up for me by my brother Richard) Not telling you which villa we chose because it was the best one in our opinion and we are hoping to book it once again next February! | |

| It would cost you $80 to hire a full set for 12 days - that's about £55. We bought our sets for £25 so saved £30 each - we then left them there to make room for bringing presents back. | |

| If you have time I would suggest eBay - we got ours from there and they were spot on and lasted the whole 14 days - we could have brought them back and used many more times but we were happy to leave them and give us some space back for pressies. | |
