| Hi everyone, we are due to visit Komandoo on October 25th for 10 days. My partner and I have been fortunate to visit other islands but this will be a first with friends.(only just found them). It will be Paul's (friend) 60th while we are there (reason for their holiday) and we would love to suprise him (nicely) with some form of Maldivian hospitality. Any sugestions!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jellybean Jellybean If you advise staff of the birthday they always make a cake and all the waiters gather around and sing happy birthday as it's presented at Dinner. Ok not very Maldivian I know. I'm sure they could be persuaded to perhaps do some type of 'traditional maldivian drumming' for example. Just ask when you get there, they are always very willing to make your stay special. Jellybean Hello and thanks Richard, are there any trips that they could go on? If so what are they? Just so we can be prepared for anything.
