General question for debate.

We always pick the 'all in option' it suits us. No added bill at the end, apart from Britt trips etc. The Aqua meals, Spa visits and free mini dive, along with free bar, it just makes it simple. You can have a beer from the room fridge if you like etc....... never mind that side of it. I totally understand no 'premium brands rule' I'm happy to have a glass of draught beer and Jan has the white rum (not Bacardi). But the following seems weird to me, I'm sure there are other 'quirks as well'

'Cappacino' coffe at the bar in the afternoon, chargable. Nestcafe free, double rum free, beer free?
Beach bar in the afternoon, all spirts free, beer chargable? Apparently because it's bottled beer there.

Just find these little things strange, for what it costs them it seems mad to me. Rolling Eyes

Has anyone found other issues on the 'all in'

Richard

Hi Richard generally the AI package suited us but I must say we found it strange that you had to pay at the beach bar and imo it should be included.BOB.G

Gold AI wine choices?

Hi, we are hoping to go to Komandoo in March 2011 but can't decide whether to go FB & pay for drinks or go Gold AI.
Can anyone let us know what brands of white wine/sparkling wine are included in the Gold AI

Not being a 'wine buff' to quote on brands would be of no help. Just would say it's house white or red, pehaps others would know if there is a sparkling option. Never seen anyone spit it out mind.

My advice would come from a different direction. Do the sums on one or two weeks

What is the difference between FB and All In. Say x$ for one person.
So start with x$, if you would use the Spa option take off say $60 per week
If you would use the Aqua take of $100 per week I guess.
If you dont dive and would use the intro dive take off perhaps $50 (thats just per visit not week)
Then you get to the bar options:
You can use the minibar in the room if you like. Remember you can't take drinks back to the room for the obvious reasons.
Draught beer is free on AI around $5 to buy. Bottled beer is charged on AI and FB around £7.50 but these are 33cl glasses.
House brand spirts are around $8. Free on AI charged on FB
I think house white/red would be around $7

Work out what you would use, don't forget your on holiday and bet you spend more than usual in the bar!

So whats left in the x$ pot, plus to you or the Island.

If you take the all in and want to treat yourselves to a nice bottle of wine when your at the Aqua, just pay for that.

I think it just takes the well should I or not out of the mix. Have what you want because you have already paid for it! cheers

Hope that just gives you an option to think over.

Richard

I would say from a personal view that is the best oiption. Now you just need to make sure you get your monies worth, Happy hangovers!

Seriously though, just think it takes all the pressure off what you spend whilst there. Also you don't have to remember to sign your bill every time you leave the bar.

Have a wonderful time
