Bobby

Defo do a trip called the Britt. All day out on a small boat, no more than 10-12 people.

Hi Billy,

Do you book that trip when you're on the island? How much is it approx?

Yep, on the island book it early so if it is cancelled or full you will still have another attempt.

The price was something like £100-£120 ish each I think. Best trip the wife and I have ever done. Wink

Hi to everyone - my 1st post :-)

Fully agree about the Britt trip - a really brilliant excursion, well worth doing even though it is a bit pricey.

The day we went the ocean was like a millpond, we had dolphins swimming alongside for ages - the closest encounter we've ever had, and snorkelled with Mantas.

The crew are great - how they manage to provide such an excellent lunch in a small galley I'll never know..

cheers
Ian

We did 5 trips ...

Sunset Cruise - FREE - Okay as it was free but wouldn't want to pay for it.
Kudadu Deserted Island - FREE - Brilliant to snorkel round and would have happily paid if it wasn't free
Hinnavaru Island - $20 pp - Just me, the missus and a tour guide - great value and an excellent trip to see some real culture
Night Fishing - $45 pp - Bit pricey but a good laugh and if you haven't done this before I would recommend
Ship Wreck Snorkel Tour - $33 pp - Bit of a rip off as you see much more on the House Reef for free!

the big price disparity between Billy's excursion and zico's is huge. What is the difference?

Mercuri - I think you are trying to compare two totally different excursions hence the price difference.

Mercuri

Yes the Brit is the trip to do for sure. It may seem a bit expensive when you look at the events board. But you will get off at the end of the day and have been willing to pay more!

Am in Komandoo resort, unfortunately the Britt only sails on monday, hence am unable to get on it. Have booked a cruise on the Muna, supposedly better than the Britt, will post updates when i finish the trip.

Did the freebie sunset cruise and it's worth it. saw some frolicking dolphins and also a sea turtle! totally heavenly... Very Happy

hi richard, will definitely do a full report once i get back from Komandoo. It has been raining and the seas are choppy. The Muna cruise might be cancelled due to the weather.
