Hi ALL
We going in september for our 6th stay on komandoo it is just the best.
We have been to 4 other islands then we found Komandoo we just love it is small and the night life is just about nil it`s fantastic food service and the staff can`t fault a thing only that we have to leave.
We have made friends with lovely people and will be on Komandoo the same time as them this year for the 3rd time they are great.
Last year as the year befor we said it will be last time but when we get home we just can`t help ourselfs and book again.

Would be interested to know what other islands you have visited and what you thought about them. I go to Huvafen Fushi at the end of the month

I hope I enjoy it as much as I did at Komandoo!

We have been to kanafalu this was taken over by Sunmed so i do not know what it is called now that was our first visit to Maldives, Rethi beach was the next one this was really lovely but rooms do not match Komandoo or the food it was a long time ago i`m not running the island down it`s just that we love Komandoo, we then went to another small island sorry can`t remember the name it was really for Italians only 4 english on the island and that included us two all meals was paster bread and pizza no choice one main corse the next was villyfaru once again no match to Komando.
Sorry i am not much help to you we found Komando and have loved it ever since each year we say this is the last after our 3 visit but as i have said we are now going back for our 6th time.Last year we wre on the island and met the couple who have been 16 times this must tell us something hey!

Six times is really something, but when you have found your own little piece of paradise then that's what keeps us going! I can understand the lure, and would like to go back again too.

After Huvafen I will be giving the Maldives a break (I say that now ) and maybe look at Thailand, but I know I will be returning to these atolls in the future.
